This month I want to feature two web sites I believe are very helpful in the pursuit of more information on music therapy.

The first is the American Music Therapy Association. The web site address is: www.musictherapy.org. This organization can provide you with a wealth of information on the purpose of music therapy, how to find a music therapist in your area, resource information pertinent to research, materials, legislative issues and a multitude of other resources and links.

The second web site is for Prelude Music Therapy. Their address is: http://preludetherapy.home.att.net. This company offers products, services and information on the issue of music therapy in the public schools. This company is well respected in understanding and advocating for the role of music therapy and it's purpose for children.
