Kirby Lentz
Kirby Lentz is vice president of operations at the Chileda
Institute, a residential facility for children and adolescents
with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum
disorders, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. With a doctorate in educational
leadership, Dr. Lentz has over 30 years' experience in education
and administration for persons with developmental disabilities,
the last 18 with children with autism spectrum disorders.
He has spoken to parents and professionals at local, state,
and national conventions, and has experienced the "other
side of the table" as a parent seeking the hopes and
dreams of his own children.
